Bleaching and dyeing of knitted fabrics

What is it?

We have a continuous bleaching machine with a large production capacity that allows us to bleach knitted fabrics with the tone requested by the customer. We also have dyeing machines to dye knitted fabrics with the target colour

What is the result?

Bleaching machine: the process consists of scouring the fabric, bleaching the fabric. neutralising the pH, and adding the finish requested by the customer. We can bleach different fabric compositions such as cotton, polyester, Tencel, etc.

Dyeing machine: we obtain fabrics dyed with the requested colour. We work with different dyes, but we can highlight the direct and reactive dyes. Direct dyes are used for lighter colours and have a lower fastness to washing. On the other hand, reactive dyes are used for darker and more intense colours, with a high washing fastness.

Lamination

What is it?

A technique that turns a fabric into waterproof, and that also can be reusable, breathable, and washable. It consists of applying adhesive between 2 layers so that they stick together. Adhesions can be made between 2 fabrics, a fabric to a film or trilaminate known as sandwich: fabric + film + fabric. Different films can be applied according to requirements: Highly breathable, UV-resistant, antistatic, metallised, etc.

What is the result?

– It is an ideal technique for bonding membranes or making “sandwich” type technical fabrics, obtaining fabrics with high breathability, light, waterproof and elastic values. It enables us to manufacture articles for mattress protectors for the household and contract sector, outdoor fabrics, sportswear, etc. Our lamination machines can work at a maximum working width of 240 cm.

Coatings by induction

What is it?

A technique that enables us to obtain waterproof fabrics with different properties: flame retardant, anti-mite, anti-bacterial, CB-20 (antiviral), autoclave washable, etc. It can be applied on knitted or woven fabrics. It consists of making homogeneous layers of PVC, PU, silicones, applying the coating to the fabric and integrating them together to obtain resistant and high-quality articles

What is the result?

  • If the polymer used is polyvinylchloride (PVC), we obtain textiles with greater durability and versatility that resist the use of chemical agents, including bleach and high temperature washing, as well as autoclave sterilization, for a high chemical and abrasion resistance. This technique is ideal for resistant sanitary fabrics in which breathability is not a necessity: hospital curtains, soakers-incontinence pads, bibs, cloths, and surgical fabrics.
  • If the polymer used is polyurethane (PU), we obtain articles that are waterproof and durable, but which can also be highly breathable, elastic, and flexible. This technique is ideal for fabrics with high added value and breathability: sanitary mattress protection, surgical gowns, and accessories. We also have aliphatic PU, which don’t get yellowish when exposed to sunlight.
  • If silicone is used, it’s a natural anti-bacteria and is not corrosive to other materials. It is waterproof (even with a large water column), has very good weathering properties and is UV resistant. It has excellent electrical insulation properties and is highly elastic. Silicone coated fabrics are used as:

(a) Parasols and awnings, including in marine environments

(b) Welding spatter shields

(c) Medical, orthopaedic, cosmetic, outdoor applications

Direct Coating

What is it?

An ideal technique for making flame retardant foams and acrylic resins. In combination with a kiss roller, we can apply a finish on only one side of the fabric, calculating its exact absorption and being able to obtain different finishes on each side and therefore saving on the amount of product applied.

It can be applied on resin coated table clothing, blackout curtains, fireproof fabrics for automotive, upholstery, etc.

What is the result?

  • High surface evenness of the applied materials over the entire working width, up to 320 cm
  • A good water column
  • Flame retardant fabrics with the necessary standards
